Vertical wine racks are the industry standard in wine racks. A unique design with limitless applications. Vertical Racks come in 5 different heights all of which can be added together to get to maximum height available. Vertical systems hold more bottles per square foot.
Vertical wine racks accommodate Chardonnay and Burgundy bottles better as they tend to be larger in diameter. The VRS will accommodate a champagne bottle.
Vertical wine rack systems accept top display shelves with 15 degree bottle angles; solid top shelf or custom display shelf locations; or even "X" style shelving. HRS and VRS styles can be mixed and matched to provide the perfect wine room storage solution. Start with your total height then mix and match until you get the right combination.
Typically people are drawn to one style (HRS/VRS) or another because of an aesthetic feel. Horizontal racks can be adjusted to hold magnum and larger, however the HRS standard requires special sorting to accommodate Chardonnay and Burgundy bottles.
HRS systems have a lower cost per bottle stored. Can be used for beer bottles, too. Horizontal systems are equal in quality to the vertical systems. Top row can be multi-stacked, as well.
Horizontal Rack systems accept top display shelves with 15 degree bottle angles; solid top shelf or custom display shelf locations; or even "X" style shelving. Both HRS and VRS styles can be mixed and matched to provide the perfect wine room storage solution. Start with your total height then mix and match until you get the right combination..
